I was inspired to produce this project because of linear drumming. Linear drumming means that no two notes play on the same beat. For an animator, this leaves a lot of room for creative interpretations of the sounds, since each beat could represent a frame or series of frames. I played and recorded the drums, designed the graphics in Illustrator, and animated used After Effects.
